Your new role:
We're looking for a hands-on, energetic Supply Chain & Procurement Lead to take full ownership of our end-to-end supply chain on a high-impact, globally recognised project.
You will be fully embedded with the project team, ensuring the production line is always supported and running smoothly, while also shaping smarter, more efficient ways of working.
This is a full time, office-based role with the need to operate flexibly across global time zones and the willingness to travel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supply Chain & Procurement Leadership – Own performance across schedule, cost, quality and compliance. Provides clear leadership of procurement activity from sourcing and negotiation through to contract management and delivery.
* Operational Control – Ensure timely raising of Purchase Orders by proactively understanding lead times, while closely tracking orders and following up with suppliers to secure on-time delivery.
* Supplier & Work Package Management – Build strong supplier relationships and lead designated work packages, including monitoring delivery schedules, chairing project reviews, risk and issue management, and commercial management (RFPs, negotiations, and contract management).
* Compliance – Ensure adherence to internal, customer, and ITAR requirements.
* Strategic Development – Develop/refine sourcing strategies to ensure affordability, robustness, and continuity of supply.
* Reporting & Improvement – Deliver monthly reporting (cost, spend, supplier performance metrics); introduce more efficient, visual, and automated ways of tracking stock, fasteners and part coverage.
* Stakeholder Engagement – Represent Supply Chain team in internal and external forums.
* Bid Development provide inputs into pricing, bids, and fact-finding activities.
* Team Leadership – Manage and mentor a direct report, setting clear objectives, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
