Job Opportunity: Community Liaison Officer
About the Role
The Community Liaison Officer will be responsible for delivering culturally appropriate support services to individuals at risk or causing harm, building strong relationships with community members, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide assistance to people at risk or causing harm, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with community members to facilitate engagement and collaboration.
* Relocate individuals at risk to a safe location, prioritizing their safety and security.
* Contribute to a team effort to prevent anti-social, destructive, and illegal behaviors, promoting a positive and respectful community environment.
* Maintain a safe working environment for colleagues, adhering to Work Health & Safety regulations.
* Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Team Leader, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
Requirements:
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
* A positive attitude towards health and well-being, with a focus on promoting holistic care.
* Familiarity with WHS regulations and procedures.
* Criminal History Check (issued within the last 3 months).
* Current Working with Children's Clearance (Ochre Card).
* A valid driver's license.
