About the Role:
As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred mental health nursing care to consumers. Your responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, development, implementation, prioritisation and evaluation of individualised treatment plans. You will work as a valued member of a multidisciplinary team, underpinned by the organisation's core values of Safe, Kind and Together.
Responsibilities
Ensure a safe work environment and comply with key legislation.
Uphold Northern Health's policies, ethical standards and Code of Conduct.
Maintain and develop professional skills through CPD and mandatory training.
Accurately document clinical information within legal frameworks.
Collaborate with consumers, carers and colleagues to provide integrated, respectful care.
Support team development and delegate tasks responsibly within scope of practice.
Contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous learning and compassionate care.
Qualifications
Registered nurse under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act **** (AHPRA).
Bachelor's degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing or equivalent; alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing plus a postgraduate qualification in Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing.
Current National Police Check and Working with Children History Check.
