About Gray Puksand

Gray Puksand is an Australian architecture and integrated design practice with 135 highly engaged design professionals across 4 studios in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Canberra.

Our vision is to create an inspired future with beautiful, authentic, and considered projects that improve the way people work, learn, and live.

Individually, we are accomplished, curious, imaginative designers. Collectively, we are a diverse national team, applying a consistent design methodology to deliver successful projects for our clients and the people who inhabit them.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover parental leave. Ideally, you bring experience working in the Health sector and are looking to contribute to complex projects in a meaningful way. Experience in Workspace, Commercial, or Education sectors will be looked favourably upon.

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be tasked with managing projects nearly autonomously, including project financials and acting as the client contact, with support from our Partners. Strong design acumen and a proactive, organised mindset are a must.

This is both a leadership and hands-on role. We rely on our designers to manage projects from end to end, sometimes with assistance from our senior leaders and Partners, documenters, our technology team, or autonomously. All our designers are required to have strong Revit skills as well as the proven ability to communicate designs and ideas through multiple mediums including Revit, Enscape, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Our office is conveniently located just a short walk from Southern Cross and Flagstaff stations, with easy tram access via Bourke and Collins Streets. We also offer excellent end-of-trip facilities, including lockers and towel service.
