Infrastructure Senior Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Senior Project Manager to join our team in Melbourne/Sydney. As part of the Customer Corporate Enablement Portfolio in the Digital division, we aim to implement and run a large lifecycle project.
The purpose of this project is to maintain our applications and infrastructure up-to-date, mitigate end-of-life operational risks, and address aging hardware, applications, tools, software, data centre facilities, and end-user devices.
This project will include multiple initiatives addressing complex technical aspects. Ideal candidates will have strong project management skills and experience in managing similar lifecycle projects and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define, manage, and control lifecycle projects to ensure quality, cost, and time requirements are met.
2. Coordinate demand and present lifecycle initiatives for approval to relevant authorities.
3. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and that expectations are well defined and met.
4. Develop and maintain procedures such as the Project Management Plan (PMP), policies, and controls to achieve key milestones.
5. Provide regular status reports, communications, and advice to stakeholders, escalating issues as necessary.
6. Evaluate project outcomes and provide feedback on benefits and opportunities for improvement to support continuous business improvement.
This role requires a high level of expertise in project management, leadership, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they meet agreed-upon timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
