If you’ve ever had a life event registered in the ACT, chances are that you’ve already accessed one of the many services from the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM). BDM administer life events registrations such as births, deaths, marriages, adoptions, civil partnerships, changes of name or sex and other aspects of identity management. Administration Officers in the BDM team are responsible for undertaking registration assessments, processing applications, responding to customer enquiries over the phone and in writing. The BDM team are a small and dynamic team who pride themselves in providing high quality customer service and administrative support, adapting well to change, and balancing competing priorities in a dynamic regulatory environment.
