Responsibilities
- Erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures to support maintenance, construction, and repair activities.
- Interpret plans, drawings and written instructions and comply with project specifications to complete works.
- Meet both quality and productivity targets in erecting and dismantling scaffolding.
- Participate in and contribute to daily pre-starts, weekly toolbox meetings and other health and safety initiatives and training.
- Report all hazards, incidents and near misses to Supervisors and/or HSE Advisor and all other applicable and notifiable employees.
- Comply with company and site PPE requirements at all times.
- Provide direction to labourers as required.
- Creation and compliance with JHA's/SWMS, etc.
- Maintain professional code of conduct at all times with all dealings with clients and other contractors.
Requirements
- Must reside within Adelaide or surrounding suburbs (no accommodation provided).
- Demonstrated scaffolding experience with strong knowledge of design, assembly, and dismantling techniques.
- Valid High Risk Work License - SB, SI or SA.
- Valid Working at Heights certification (issued within the last 2 years).
- Valid White/Blue Card (Construction Induction card).
- Ability to interpret scaffolding plans and drawings accurately.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proven commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Availability to work casually, including during peak project periods.
