Overview
Our client is looking for a highly experienced Maintenance Electrician with a multi-skilled portfolio across the electrical and mechanical field. They are a market leader in their sector and will provide elite training and support from Europe, with opportunities for progression within the company. You should have the personal attributes to lead, take control and manage pace and pressure.
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday – 14:00-22:00
Pay: Hourly rate dependant on experience
Responsibilities of The Role
- Identify potential problems or efficiency improvements
- PLC programming and troubleshooting (Training Provided)
- Installation & commissioning of V.S.Ds (Variable Speed Drives)
- Panel wiring, maintenance, general lighting & maintaining machines
- Test & tagging of electrical equipment license
- Dis/Connect licence or Electrical Licence (Training/Accreditation provided)
- Interpreting electrical diagrams
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Working with other trades as a team on projects
- Mechanical aptitude
Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- In depth Mechanical and Electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment is a MUST - A minimum of 5 years also
- Strong mechanical maintenance skills
- Strong electrical maintenance skills with a full NSW Electrical Licence
- A printing or packaging background would be desired
- Trade Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- PLC Exposure not required but desired
- Able to lead, manage and work alone on all tasks in a very intense and high pressure setting
