The Role
Black Star Pastry is looking for a Driver to join our team transporting our beautiful cakes and other products from our Production Kitchen, based in Alexandria, to our various stores and pop-ups dotted across Sydney.
Ideally, we are looking for someone that can help us on Weekends - Saturdays and Sundays for your availability are a must - and if you're also keen for a shift or two on week days, we can all collaborate to determine a roster that works for all, and ensures positive work/life balance.
Responsibilities
* Pick up and load vehicle promptly in accordance with company procedures.
* Deliver product to our stores in a timely and professional manner.
* Ensure compliance with legal requirements of food hygiene regulations.
About You
* Previous experience as a driver in a larger vehicle. (HV licence not required)
* Able to build effective and constructive relationships – a true team player!
* Exceptional time management skills.
* Good judgement and confident to make informed decisions.
* Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing business demands.
* Passionate about prompt service and delivering a quality product.
* Positive ambassador of the BSP brand.
* Valid driver's licence
