Senior Cloud Administrator – NSW Trustee and Guardian
Ongoing full-time vacancy. 35 hours per week. The role is based in Sydney and may permit work from a regional office with required attendance at the Sydney office once per week (negotiable). Flexible and hybrid working options available. Clerk Grade: 9/10. Base salary $129,464 to $142,665 p.a. plus 12% superannuation and annual leave loading.

About The Role
As Senior Cloud Administrator, you will oversee day‐to‐day ICT operations, drive the development and optimization of cloud infrastructure, and lead improvements across the ICT environment. This role is central to Agency's cloud transformation journey and the success of its Digital Plan. You will design and implement solutions that enable secure, reliable, and high‐performing ICT services, with a strong focus on service delivery and continuous improvement.
As The Senior Cloud Administrator, You Will
* Provide expert technical and system administration support across multiple platforms and locations.
* Lead and mentor Technical Support Administrators responsible for operational maintenance and continuity. Ensure the day‐to‐day ICT operations run smoothly and securely.
* Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders on ICT projects and initiatives.
* Identify opportunities to optimise ICT operations and drive efficiency.
Your Expertise Will Cover
* Microsoft O365 – provide expert guidance on upgrades, enhancements, and functionality, supporting both daily operations and project initiatives.
* Microsoft Azure Cloud – advise on architecture changes, optimise cloud services, and support cloud‐related projects.
* Networking and Security – maintain and enhance network and security systems, contributing to operational stability and project delivery.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
* Extensive experience as a Senior Cloud Specialist with Microsoft Azure and O365 expertise.
* Proven ability to design, implement, and optimise cloud solutions. Proven experience in Networking and Security will be highly regarded.
* Competency in designing and building solutions relating to the above platforms.
* Advanced analytical and problem‐solving skills for addressing complex cloud issues.
* Participation in an on‐call and/or after‐hours work roster to ensure service continuity to clients may be required.
