Reporting to the Director, School Operations, the Assistant Director will provide high-level administrative, coordination, and stakeholder management support across the School Operations branch. This role requires a strategic and adaptable thinker who can navigate complexity while maintaining a focus on outcomes. The Assistant Director will be expected to exercise sound judgment and initiative in delivering timely, accurate, and effective senior administrative and policy support. They will lead the coordination of key work programs, contribute to the development and continuous improvement of policies and governance frameworks, and manage officers and responsibilities within their designated streams. The successful applicant will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities within tight timeframes under the Schools Management Model, and anticipate and respond to emerging operational needs. While the role will be based within a specific stream, the Assistant Director may be required to work flexibly across the branch in response to shifting priorities or strategic objectives. Note: Two permanent positions are available. One position is available for three months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months.
