**About the Role**
Our **Dandenong**branch has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us in the position of **Yardhand / Trade Assistant**.** We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the yard and is interested in working within a varied work environment.
**Your responsibilities will include**
- Assist the Workshop Diesel Mechanics as directed
- Ensure workshop is kept neat and tidy
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure machine transfers are made ready for dispatch
- Conformance to quality systems and procedures
- Receipt incoming equipment and attachments
- Ensure accuracy of arrival paperwork
Ensure that the general appearance of yard and branch are maintained and kept in a clean and tidy state
- Assisting in other branch related duties as required
**To be successful you will need**:
- A current Forklift Licence
- Demonstrated work experience in a similar position
- A safety focus - ensure the safety of yourself and your peers
- Mechanical aptitude
- Self-motivation with a focus on service
