SUMMARY
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our enterprise customers, reporting to the regional Manager, Solutions Engineering. You will partner directly with regional account executives to help change our customers' view and approach to cloud security. You will be their trusted advisor for all matters related to cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP. We are passionate about technical sales and helping our customers achieve the maximum value from our solution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
1. Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership to our customers and prospective customers, helping our team meet their quarterly sales targets.
2. Deliver presentations such as whiteboards, product demonstrations, slides, and proof of value outcomes to our customers and prospects.
3. Help our customers and prospects plan in-depth test plans to demonstrate the value of the Wiz platform in their environment (proof of value).
4. Invest time in learning new product features, industry developments, and broadening your overall technical skills.
5. Represent Wiz in technical forums such as trade shows, meet-ups, and industry events.
6. Must be based in Canberra.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
1. Ability to deliver world-class demonstrations and training to our channel customers.
2. Mastery of the technical sales process.
3. Experience in a sales engineering role delivering solutions to C-level executives at enterprise customers.
4. Must be based in Melbourne and able to travel up to 40% of the time (to local and regional clients).
5. Cloud security experience.
6. Strong operating system, virtual machine, and container knowledge.
7. Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks.
8. Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates, and keys.
BONUS POINTS
1. Experience with traditional CSPM tools.
2. SaaS experience.
3. Awareness of the CI/CD process.
4. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code.
