We are a privately owned and operated organisation, trading for over 50 years with multiple sites across NSW. A position has become available for an experienced full-time Accounts Payable Officer to join our busy Head Office Team based at Terrey Hills. This position will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
* Matching purchase orders, delivery dockets and invoices
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
* Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs
* Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
* Assist with month end closing tasks related to accounts payable
* Provide general ad hoc support to the broader finance team
Skills & experience
* Previous experience in Accounts Payable role is essential
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workload, work in a team environment and manage deadlines
* Intermediate Excel skills
