An Australian owned, family business, our client is a leader in the work wear industry. For over 20 years they have supplied to the corporate, hospitality, sports and education industries.
Currently they are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their Altona North team.
Reporting to the Directors you will be required to, but not limited to:
- Train, manage and direct warehouse personnel
- Manage labour requirements inclusive of agency staff
- Promote safe work practices and OH&S policies
- Oversee container unloads, check offs and put aways
- Arrange servicing/ maintenance for equipment
- Operate LF and LO forklifts as required
- other general warehousing duties as required.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Have a sound knowledge of general warehousing procedures
- Have previous exposure to warehousing software such as WMS and IFS
- Have a high level of written and verbal communication
- Be a proven critical thinker with a keen eye for detail
- Be self-motivated and have a can-do attitude.
