A well established, growing construction services business operating across regional NSW is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead multisite operations. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for safety, people leadership, operational execution, and commercial performance across multiple branches. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a key part in strengthening leadership capability, improving operational discipline, and supporting continued growth.
The Role
* Lead, coach, and develop frontline operational leaders across multiple sites
* Own safety, compliance, and operational risk, ensuring consistent standards across all locations
* Manage operational performance across labour, hire, transport, productivity, and margins
* Plan and allocate resources
* Standardise operational processes and systems to improve consistency and scalability
* Regular travel between regional sites to provide visible leadership, coaching, and operational oversight
* Use data and reporting to identify issues early and drive sustainable improvement
* Work closely with Finance and Sales to align operations with commercial and customer requirements
About You
* Proven experience leading multisite, labour intensive operations (construction or similar environment)
* Strong background in safety, compliance, and site based risk management
* Demonstrated success developing frontline leaders and building accountability
* Commercially capable, with experience managing budgets, margins, and performance data
* Structured, calm, and proactive leadership style
