Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment is essential for ensuring high-quality food service and adherence to hygiene and safety standards. You will collaborate with colleagues to achieve exceptional results and foster a positive work culture.
* Meal Preparation and Presentation: Develop and present nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary requirements.
* Environmental Maintenance: Maintain a spotless and organized kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with catering staff, residents, and healthcare teams to enhance meal services.
* Certification and Experience: Hold relevant trade qualifications (Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery) or equivalent, along with experience working in commercial kitchens, preferably in aged care or large-scale catering.
* Licence and Skills: Possess a valid Queensland driver's licence and demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
