The Opportunity
A well-established construction group is seeking an experienced
Contract Administrator
to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering long-term career progression, a supportive team culture, and a genuine focus on work/life balance.
You'll be working across a range of commercial projects, managing contracts from pre-construction through to handover. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of project outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing projects from early procurement through to completion and defect liability.
* Attending design and site coordination meetings.
* Ensuring compliance with building specifications, standards, and contractual obligations.
* Conducting tender interviews, subcontractor negotiations, and contract letting.
* Overseeing project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
* Preparing and maintaining detailed programs and monthly progress reports.
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 4 years' experience in a Contract Administrator role, ideally within the commercial construction sector.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Contracts Administration, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
* Strong organisational and planning skills with high attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive approach and ability to work both independently and within a team.
