SafetyQuip, a leading national supplier of Workplace Safety Equipment to industry, is opening a new store in the Barossa Valley, South Australia (Nuriootpa).
Our trading hours at this store will be Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm and Saturdays 9am - 1:30pm. Various full-time and part-time roles are available in our customer service team. We do require all staff to be available to work some Saturdays on a roster basis.
Our product range includes Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety boots and workwear, through to more technical items including confined space entry equipment, fall protection and gas detection equipment.
Our client base includes: local and state government departments, power and water utilities, food and beverage processing facilities, manufacturing/engineering organisations, civil works and trade based organisations.
This role supports our Clients and Territory Managers by handling telephone, electronic and showroom product enquiries, and placement of orders.
You will have the following skills/abilities:
* A mature and friendly customer service manner
* The ability to engage in intelligent conversation with experienced buyers from industrial organisations
* Competent computer skills
* The ability to communicate technical information verbally and in a written format
* A high level of personal grooming
New Barossa Valley team members will commence ahead of the store opening to work 2-3 months at our Dry Creek head office and distribution centre for training and on-boarding. Candidates will need to have their own transport during on-boarding.
