The Role
They are seeking an Assistant Insurance Broker to join the Hobart team. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior brokers, supporting them across client management, policy administration, quoting, and renewals, while gaining exposure to a broad range of business insurance products.
This is more than just an admin role—your contribution will directly support client outcomes and set you on a pathway towards becoming a qualified Insurance Broker.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to senior brokers across client portfolios
- Assist with policy renewals, quoting, and documentation preparation
- Manage client and insurer communication with accuracy and professionalism
- Maintain compliance and ensure records are kept up to date
- Learn the end-to-end insurance process with structured mentoring and support
About You
- Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Keen to build a career in insurance, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Tier 1 qualified (or working towards).
