To be successful for this role,
your CV will need to reflect on following skill-set:
Detailed extensive experience within a large multi-cloud financial management setting as a FinOps Manager or Senior Analyst;
Detailed experience in financial analysis of all cloud spend and utilisation using different dashboards;
Demonstrated experience in presenting to Director Level, C Level and GM Level stakeholders as well as wider business;
Demonstrated commercial experience in cloud financial costing Capital expenditure Capex / operating expense Opex and spend management
Demonstrated understanding of multi-cloud environments and ability to collaborate with both finance and business stakeholders on cloud costing and financial management;
Detailed financial numeracy and finance understanding to estimate the cost, understand the best price and manage spending on cloud technology by the business;
Robust communications and stakeholder management is essential.
Desirable but not essential:
Detailed financial / accounting analysis background in addition to cloud understanding;
Experience with Microsoft Azure / Office365 as well as AWS Cloud;
Experience within NSW government sector;
Experience within education sector;
You will be joining a large end-user organisation that is one of the biggest employers within southern hemisphere within senior FinOps capacity.
This is a key position solely focused on cloud financial management, spend monitoring and annual cost savings. In this position, you are involved in end to end financial and commercial analysis of multi-cloud technologies, their cost and utilisation.
You will then perform detailed analysis on spend and return on investment in order to identify areas of budget savings and best ROI.
This position will also require regular liaison and presentations to senior director level and therefore requires a highly polished and confident communications skills as well as business acumen.
