About the facility
Barwon Health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is one of Victoria’s largest regional health services with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We serve over 500,000 people through the efforts of over 8,000 staff and more than 1200 volunteers. We provide care at all stages or life and circumstance through a wide range of services from emergency and acute to mental health, primary care, community services, aged care, and subacute/rehabilitation. Care is provided to the community through over 28 key locations throughout the region.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for Neurology Fellow year Registrar role working alongside a dedicating neurology team.
The Neurosciences Dept., one of the largest regional neuro centres in Australia consists of a team of health clinicians at University Hospital Geelong, McKellar Centre, community rehabilitation and the Neuroscience Clinic. Our clinicians have specific skills in the management of neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's, MS, MND, Epilepsy and other diseases of the brain and nervous system.
Our team aim to consistently provide evidence base care, education and support to reduce the impact on people and their families with neurological conditions, working alongside experiences specialist nurses, researchers, allied health and clinical teams throughout the organisation.
Our Neurosciences team are enthusiastic, engaged and committed to working cohesively together to provide high quality, patient centred care. They promote positive, respectful relationships and strong working partnerships across the multidisciplinary team and the Barwon South West region.
