Job Description
As a Lecturer (Clinical Psychology), you'll play a vital role in supporting the next generation of clinical and professional psychologists through excellence in teaching, supervision and practice. Here's how you'll make it matter:
Deliver innovative, evidence-based teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programs.
Provide clinical supervision and guidance to postgraduate clinical and professional psychology students.
Coordinate courses and contribute to the design and delivery of authentic, student-centred learning experiences.
Contribute to the development and management of student placement opportunities, including internal and external placements.
Engage in scholarly activities that enhance teaching practice and promote best-practice training in clinical psychology.
This is a continuing, part-time position (60%, 3 days per week) primarily based at either the Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campuses. As Griffith is a multi-campus university you will be required to work across other campus locations.
Salary Range
The full-time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $113,226 – $134,460 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $132,474 – $157,318 per annum.
Qualifications
A PhD (or equivalent doctoral qualification) in clinical psychology or a related field.
Current registration as a psychologist (AHPRA) with area-of-practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
Endorsement as a Board-Approved Supervisor (Psychology Board of Australia).
Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality, evidence-based teaching and clinical supervision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive student and stakeholder relationships.
