About the Role
Assist in the provision of independent legal advice and assistance to Dennis Family (DF) under the direct supervision of the DF General Counsel.
Key responsibilities include:
• General office support to the in-house legal team under direction from General Counsel.
• Legal filing and archiving.
• Document management and scanning onto Content Server.
• Diary management – key dates, matter deadlines and follow ups.
• Secretarial and administrative support, WP and arranging meetings.
• Invoicing.
• Collating and preparing files for mediation and hearings, etc.
• Retrieving documents from HPM/IBM.
About you
• Experience working in a legal team or similar organisations to DF; experience working with legal files and administering a legal practice of similar size.
• Working knowledge of legal document management, filing systems and records management.
• Strong organisational and diary management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines, follow-ups and competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and general office systems, with experience preparing correspondence, managing invoices and coordinating meetings.
• Familiarity with preparing matter files for mediations, hearings or internal legal review.
