About the role
This role is primarily working in commercial installations and occasional domestic jobs so your day won't be filled with cleaning filters. This is an opportunity for someone to learn dual trades to grow your qualifications. We are looking for someone is can work self-sufficiently.

Tasks & Responsibilities
* Installation and Setup: Installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial buildings, including large-scale equipment like rooftop units or chillers.
* Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and checking components to ensure systems are operating efficiently and within safety standards.
* Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, addressing issues with compressors, thermostats, motors, refrigerants, and other components.
* System Inspections: Conducting inspections to assess system performance, ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
* Troubleshooting and Upgrades: Identifying system malfunctions, troubleshooting problems, and recommending system upgrades or replacements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Skills & experience
* At least 3-4 year's experience
* Experience in commercial installations
* Sufficient self-starter, can work confidently alone
* Prompt, reliable with a positive attitude
* Strong OH&S focus
