We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and values being part of a supportive team. You will play a key role in ensuring our school facilities are safe and attractive, with a wide variety of tasks to keep your workday interesting.
Salary: $69,927 per annum + super and leave loading | Working Hours: Mon-Fri 7.00am - 3.00pm
General maintenance duties include:
* Minor building repairs and maintenance tasks
* Occasional renovation and building works
* Maintaining job-related tools and equipment
Assist the team with the following tasks when required:
* Moving furniture and setting up/breaking down events
* Rubbish collection and waste management
* Maintain and enhance our beautiful school grounds
Skills and Experience
* Trade qualification preferred but not essential
* Current driver's licence
* Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
* Ability to work independently and proactively in a busy environment
* An understanding of and commitment to the Anglican Christian ethos of the School
* Eligibility to work in Australia as a citizen or permanent resident
