Our projects range from refurbishments, subdivisions, and street lighting to generator, solar, and HV/LV installations in Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Groote Eylandt, and remote communities in between.
About the Role:
We are looking to recruit a keen individual to assist our team with deliveries, general workshop coordination and maintenance – with a large variety of tasks, no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities:
* Picking up and delivering materials around the Darwin area and surrounds
* Coordinating vehicle delivery and collection for servicing and maintenance bookings
* Running general company errands as necessary
* Assisting the team with organisation and tidying of the workshop and yard
* Collecting and distributing food, groceries, uniforms and supplies for teams and projects
* Supporting the business with ad-hoc tasks and errands as required
* Ensuring vehicles, tools and equipment are kept clean and in good working order
* Following all workplace health and safety requirements
Favourable skills & attributes:
* Current Australian Drivers Licence (HR classification advantageous)
* Forklift licence or keen to obtain
* Construction Induction (White Card)
* Be physically fit and capable
* Ability to use mobile phone and receive emails for coordination with the team
* Effective communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work both independently, as well as part of a team
* Minimum 6-month commitment
