Job Title: Electric Network Specialist
Job Description:
You will play a critical role in ensuring the community has access to safe and reliable electricity by constructing, maintaining, and repairing transmission and distribution networks. Your duties will include promptly responding to faults, delivering high-quality work, and adapting to evolving industry standards.
You will plan and execute tasks safely and efficiently while maintaining positive interactions with customers. Your ability to work in various conditions, including environmental elements, is essential for this role.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Attend and rectify faults in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to customers.
* Complete allocated construction and maintenance work to consistent quality standards across the network.
* Maintain and enhance your core line skills in accordance with changing industry standards and business requirements.
* Participate in pre-job planning to identify risks, hazards, and task variables, and implement control measures for safe, reliable, and affordable job completion.
* Work effectively in environmental elements while implementing adequate safety and control measures.
* Mainly interact with customers professionally and respectfully.
Requirements:
* New Zealand Electricity Supply (Distribution) Minimum Level 4.
* Valid WA 'HR' Class Drivers Licence.
* Demonstrated experience in the construction and maintenance of the distribution electricity network.
* HOU and LOU Switching is beneficial but not necessary.
