The North Queensland Persistent Pain Management Service provides support, education and therapy with the goal of helping patients make sense of their pain and make the most of their lives. Our team works together to provide high quality clinical care to patients, supervision of junior medical staff including inpatient care, and teaching to junior medical staff, medical students and allied health staff.

About the Role:
* We are seeking a Pain Management Specialist to join our team within the North Queensland Persistent Pain Management Service in Townsville on a fixed term temporary part-time basis, up to 12 months.
* The successful candidate will have completed a recognized vocational college training program relevant to the speciality.

Requirements:
* Accepted into recognised vocational college training program relevant to the speciality.
* If appointee is not accepted into a recognized vocational college training program – employment will only be as a Principal House Officer.

About Your Opportunity:
You will be responsible for providing high quality clinical care to patients of the North Queensland Persistent Pain Management Service within The Townsville Hospital and Health Service, supervision of junior medical staff including inpatient care and will include some responsibility for providing teaching to junior medical staff, medical students and allied health staff.
