Job Overview
* The role entails diverse exposure to Zinc Lead Concentrator operations, business support assets such as water infrastructure, and Copper Concentrator as part of closure activities.
* You will be responsible for the safe execution and implementation of mechanical and multidisciplinary projects involving civil/structural and electrical works.
* Contractor management, project scoping, planning, procurement, documentation control, resourcing and safety management will be key responsibilities.
* Scope development, and project management including financial, variations and schedule management will also be expected.
* Quality assurance and control are crucial aspects of this role.
* Supervision of multidisciplinary crews will be a significant part of the job.
* Implementing improvement strategies identified from workplace audits and inspections will also be required.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* A background in a mechanical trade, civil construction, or engineering.
* Preferred S1, S2, S3 qualification.
* Previous supervisory and construction project management experience.
* Experience in executing project works including timeline and cost management.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise works effectively.
* Experience in a processing, mining or heavy industry environment.
* High computer literacy with experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong forward planning, contract management skills and safety orientation will be essential.
