Elite Foot Care is expanding its home-visit podiatry service and is seeking an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to provide routine podiatry maintenance care to our established patient base across the Sunshine Coast.
About the Role
You will deliver subsequent podiatry maintenance care only to patients who are:
* Already assessed and risk-classified by an AHPRA-registered Podiatrist
* On an established treatment plan
* Regularly reviewed by a podiatrist under our clinical governance framework
You will work within a clearly defined scope, with direct podiatrist oversight and escalation pathways in place.
Scope of Practice
You will be responsible for:
* Routine nail care
* Low-risk corn and callus reduction
* Skin and basic foot health monitoring
* Identifying and escalating clinical changes
* Accurate clinical documentation and handover
You will NOT be expected to:
* Perform initial assessments
* Diagnose conditions
* Manage high-risk feet or wounds
* Work outside an AHA scope
All clinical decisions remain podiatrist-led.

About You
This role will suit you if you:
* Hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
* Have experience supporting podiatry or community health services
* Are confident working independently within a defined scope
* Understand escalation, documentation, and professional boundaries
* Want a stable, long-term role in a structured clinical service
A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle are essential.
