* Support, mentor and develop tradespeople, building capability and confidence within the team
* Coordinate maintenance, repairs and fault‐finding on heavy mining equipment in line with customer and site requirements
* Conduct job safety audits and customer machine inspections
* Coordinate pre‐delivery inspections and commissioning of new equipment
* Monitor jobs to ensure work is delivered on time, within scope and aligned with cost expectations
* Support warranty claims and technical documentation where required
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, standard work practices and effective workshop planning
About you
You're an approachable, organised and inclusive leader who enjoys balancing people leadership with operational delivery. You're comfortable communicating clearly, making practical decisions and supporting your team in a fast‐paced environment.
We encourage applications from individuals who may not meet every requirement but feel excited about the opportunity and aligned to our values.
Ideally, you'll bring:
* Experience in a supervisory or leading‐hand role within mining, automotive or heavy equipment environments (or readiness to step into your first formal supervisory role)
* A relevant trade qualification with solid post‐trade experience
* Exposure to heavy equipment maintenance or mobile plant environments (Sandvik exposure is advantageous but not essential)
* A good understanding of safe systems of work and maintenance processes
* A collaborative, respectful leadership style with strong communication skills
* Good planning, time management and problem‐solving capability
* Confidence using Microsoft 365 and workplace systems
