Finance Officer
Location: Cambridge, Hobart
Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time (with a look to transition to Permanent)

Your new role:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role has a revenue focus and is responsible for the oversight and completion of NDIA quotes, service agreements, service bookings, and claiming. You will also raise invoices for fee-for-service, block-funded programmes, and tenant rent. Working closely with the Operations team, you will ensure income is understood and fully realised, providing optimum opportunities for participants and programmes. This role requires critical NDIS knowledge and skills to navigate the ever-changing claiming procedures. Additionally, you will process supplier invoices and prepare payments as needed.
What you'll need to succeed:
Essential:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar (finance)
* Previous experience in a finance-related field (2-4 years)
* Clear, concise written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
* Analytical skills, able to reconcile and undertake analysis
* Proficient MS Office skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel
* Ability to work in a team, customer-focused, creative, and a problem-solver
* Ability to work independently and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
* Experience in the use of accounting software such as Xero or similar package
Desirable:
* Knowledge and skills in working with Xero
* Understanding of the NDIA
