The role
Golding is a successful mining, urban and civil infrastructure project management services business with projects and operations across Queensland and South Australia. We are reliable and cost effective, working hard to achieve successful outcomes for our clients by working with them in ways that create and deliver value. We are currently seeking an IT System Developer to join our Applications team based in the Milton office.
Key Role
Tasks - Actively participate in the delivery of technology-based Business Improvement initiatives;
- Design, configure, develop and test solutions aligned with established patterns;
- Use problem solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot, support and maintain existing solutions;
- Work across the broad solution portfolio including applications, integrations and data, gaining experience in a diverse range of technologies and platforms;
- Stay current through ongoing professional development and propose improvement initiatives.
Key Capability
Requirements - Degree in IT or related disciplines, or equivalent operational experience;
- 2-4 years software development experience, using modern programming languages (e.g. C#, Python, JavaScript);
- Experience with low code / no code tools and process automations (Power platforms);
- Understanding and worked with relational databases (SQL, Postgres, MySQL);
- Solid understanding of data structures, integrations and how information moves between systems (REST API / JSON);
- Any AI, Copilot and MCPAligned Capabilities;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and
- Clear communication and documentation skills to support technical and non-technical stakeholders.
