About the Role
Reporting directly to Retail Operations, we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our Tamworth team. This is a diverse role that blends physical merchandising with "behind the scenes" marketing strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring our retail outlets look their best while actively contributing to the growth of our brand.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Retail Displays & Merchandising: Creating high-impact product displays and "Point of Sale" (POS) setups. You will also assist with general retail stock duties and inventory management.
* Promotion Creation: Collaborating with Retail Operations to develop and launch exciting new retail promotions that drive foot traffic and sales.
* Digital Marketing: Assisting in the execution of digital marketing initiatives across the business, including social media content and electronic direct mail (EDM) to engage our local customer base.
* Ticketing Compliance: Maintaining 100% accuracy in pricing and labeling across the network, ensuring compliance with Australian Consumer Law.
* Brand Consistency: Ensuring all sites reflect the Transwest Fuels brand through clean, professional, and modern marketing materials.
Let's Talk About You
We are looking for a proactive professional with a "can-do" attitude who is equally comfortable on the shop floor as they are assisting with marketing tasks.
* Proven Experience: You have a background in retail merchandising and a flair for marketing.
* Portfolio Required: You must provide photos of previous merchandise displays and examples of marketing/digital content you have created.
* Tech Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools for marketing and reporting (social media platforms, iPads, etc.).
* Physical Capability: This is an active role; you must be comfortable with manual handling and lifting stock (up to 16kg).
* The Essentials: A valid Australian Driver's License and full Australian Working Rights.
