As Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for all facets of Warehouse and Logistics operations within the Hervey Bay DC.
Operating under limited supervision but working within standard operating procedures and guidelines, you will oversee daily inventory management, distribution activities, workplace safety, and the management of staff and volunteers.
A key requirement of this position is to undertake ownership and accountability for Warehousing and Logistics outcomes, including financial, inventory, and supply chain management, WH&S, risk management, and people management.
This is a Permanent, Part-time (30.4 hours per week) position based in Hervey Bay .
To be successful in the role, you will meet the following criteria:
Relevant qualifications or certification in Warehousing and Distribution or equivalent Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager with responsibility for end-to-end warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations Driver's License Class C and MR Truck license (preferred) Understanding of warehousing and logistics operations, including Inventory management, distribution, supply chain management, WH&S, and people management Excellent time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload through delegation and problem-solving to ensure timely and accurate service delivery Ability to lead and manage others, including well-developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Capacity to exercise judgment, solve problems, and make evidence-based operational decisions Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the Society's values and mission Ready to apply?
