Are you an enthusiastic and disciplined Vascular Surgeon that is seeking your next rewarding challenge away from the surgical environment?Join an organisation where you can apply your superior clinical knowledge and expertise to support device risk assessment, regulatory submissions and product development.Reporting to the Global Director of Medical Affairs, you will collaborate across Cook business functions and business units applying your clinical knowledge and expertise to support device risk assessment, regulatory submissions, product development, internal and external training, global reimbursement efforts, market research and sales and marketing efforts.At Cook Medical, we understand that unique perspectives, ideas and contributions only strengthen our workforce and encourage innovation through solving problems together. You will be joining a collaborative, high performing team who are constantly looking at ways to evolve and improve the way we work.ResponsibilitiesClinical Expertise – Develop and maintain deep knowledge in your assigned therapeutic area, including risks, benefits, patient selection, and evolving treatment options.Scientific Leadership – Stay at the forefront of scientific and clinical trends, building meaningful relationships with key clinicians to advance understanding in your field.Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Commercial teams to provide expert clinical input across the product lifecycle.High-Impact Deliverables – Independently lead and complete complex, high-scope tasks with exceptional quality, including clinical review of internal and external-facing documents.Medical Device Lifecycle Knowledge – Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the medical device lifecycle and the strategic role of Medical Affairs within a global organisation.Mentorship & Team Development – Provide direction and guidance to Associate Medical Directors, supporting the delivery of high-quality outcomes for Medical Affairs customers.Qualifications We are seeking people who align with our company values and have a passion for providing quality solutions to our patients. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery essential.Demonstrated Vascular clinical experience with direct patient care preferred.Appropriate clinical knowledge and experience required, such as exposure to medical and surgical procedures and the use of medical devices in a clinical setting.Advanced technical writing skills.Highly developed analytical skills.Maintain interest and be skilled at reviewing literature and web-based research.#J-18808-Ljbffr
