About The Role As the Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of the science department, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining laboratory resources. Key Responsibilities Include Preparing and managing scientific materials, equipment, and chemical solutions for laboratory use. Maintaining laboratory safety protocols, waste disposal systems, and accurate inventory records. Providing technical advice to teaching staff and promoting STEM initiatives to enhance student engagement. Assisting with field trip preparations, stocktaking, and budget management within the science department. Collaborating with external organisations and maintaining laboratory protocols and methods.
