We're now seeking a skilled and Senior/Experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of outdoor learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Quantify and cost construction and landscape projects with precision
* Perform quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities
* Develop detailed estimates, pricing, and cost breakdowns
* Coordinate project handovers and ensure smooth transition from estimating to delivery
* Liaise with internal teams to align resources, schedules, and client expectations
Process Management
* Review and approve estimates, BOQs, and documentation before submission
* Refine and maintain estimating templates and Buildxact workflows
* Ensure consistent use of estimation software across the team
* Track win/loss ratios, margin trends, and estimator performance
* Conduct post-project reviews to refine estimating logic and improve future outcomes
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
* Collaborate with clients to define and negotiate clear project scopes
* Represent the estimating team in internal strategy meetings and external client briefings
* Support conflict resolution and scope clarification during project delivery
Skills & Experience
* Experience with Childcare Playscape Projects Essential
* Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry
* Background in medium-density, residential, or commercial landscaping/construction
* Proficiency in Buildxact, Bluebeam, and Excel
* High computer literacy and strong mathematical skills
* Excellent communication and time management
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
* Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
* Current Australian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check
* Must be authorised to work in Australia
