Happy New Year We are starting 2026 by looking for an Electronics Engineer to join a great product development client of ours, with experience across a range of industries, including medical devices. This role involves significant hands-on technical contribution to complex embedded projects, from concept to final product, while also providing critical design and development insights.
About the role
As an Electronics Engineer, you will use your skills to understand requirements and develop embedded electronics solutions for cutting-edge products. These are hands-on positions for engineers motivated by original product design and continuous improvement. You will contribute to bringing innovative products to life.
The team will rely on you to:
* Design and develop specific electronic solutions using Altium, taking ownership of the technical output from concept to production.
* Develop architectures for embedded systems that meet complex client requirements.
* Drive the elicitation, implementation, and refinement of technical requirements.
* Manage testing and verification processes, including EMC compliance and adherence to ISO/IEC standards.
* Provide technical advice to clients and contribute to proposal generation and project planning.
* Collaborate with colleagues through technical reviews and mentorship to lift the team's overall capability.
Ideally you have:
* 4+ years of professional experience designing electronics in Altium (or similar).
* Proven experience developing architectures for embedded systems.
* Strong knowledge of testing, verification, and regulatory compliance (EMC, ISO/IEC standards).
* Familiarity with microcontrollers and digital embedded systems.
* A Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
Bonus points if you also have:
* A specialisation in power electronics, battery systems, low-power systems, or RF.
* Prior experience with firmware development or working in a client-facing or consultancy environment.
