POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The Mechanical Engineer will lead and supervise production teams, ensure compliance with quality standards, and meet customer deadlines.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and releasing project technical drawings using CAD software, determining material requirements, and providing innovative engineering solutions to enhance facility processes and operations.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Drawing and Material Determination:
o Generate and release project technical drawings using CAD software.
o Determine the materials required for projects based on technical drawings.

Engineering Solutions:
o Explore and deliver engineering solutions to technical problems.
o Enhance and improve processes and operations within the facility.
·
Team Leadership and Supervision:
o Lead and supervise engineering and production teams.
o Execute production plans with high-quality compliance.
o Ensure projects meet customer deadlines.
·
Document Development and Review:
o Develop, review, and maintain engineering documents, specifications, and technical analyses.
o Support product development and testing activities.

Problem Solving and Commercial Analysis:
o Solve mechanical engineering problems.
o Conduct commercial analysis to identify the relative merits of different plans and designs.

Design and Tender Documents:
o Prepare and oversee engineering design and development of tender documents.
* o Ensure total installation of projects in accordance with original design specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Diploma of Engineering – Technical or related.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Strong understanding of steel manufacturing processes, including pressing, rolling, and cutting (plasma, laser).
2. Knowledge of various types of steel, their properties, and applications.
SKILLS:
·Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a production environment.
·Proficiency in CAD software and finite element analysis.
·Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct commercial analysis.
·Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
·Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
·Effective communication and documentation skills.
·Experience with product development and testing.
·Familiarity with engineering specifications and technical analysis.
·Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
