The Principal Consultant, Workforce Performance reports to the Executive Manager, Workforce Performance and is responsible for assisting with high-level advice, support, and practical assistance to senior leaders and regional HR practitioners on complex workforce management matters, focusing on early intervention and resolution.

Key Attributes
* Knowledge of employment legislation, workforce frameworks, awards, agreements, policies, and guidelines to develop strategies for managing employment matters and statewide policies.
* Experience partnering with managers at all levels to provide technical and strategic advice on complex employment issues.
* Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and provide solutions for workforce and employee matters.
* Ability to provide authoritative advice and support capability development among statewide HR practitioners and management to improve employment outcomes.
* Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
Mandatory Requirements
* May require travel on official business; possession of a C-class driver's license may be necessary.
* Possession of tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in human resources or a related field is highly regarded.
