**Service Mechanic Job Summary**
As a Service Mechanic, you will be part of a global team that moves 2 billion people every day. You will work closely with other professionals to perform service and maintenance work on lifts and escalators.
About the Role
This is a permanent role where you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of equipment and develop your skills in electrical and mechanical training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform service and maintenance work according to procedures and technical articles.
* Identify process improvement opportunities and facilitate continuous improvement.
* Provide training to apprentices and sub-contractors.
* Attend breakdowns and perform repairs and control modifications.
* Perform upgrades and repair work according to relevant codes and awards.
* Liaise with customers and submit leads using provided applications.
Requirements:
* Educational qualifications in electrical and/or fitter trade.
* Minimum two (2) to five (5) years' experience within the Lift Industry.
* A valid driver's license.
* Extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
* Strong English language skills and intermediate knowledge of technology.
