About the Opportunity
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-basedpsychological interventions, including assessments, treatment planning,clinical documentation, and referrals, to adult consumers with serious mentalhealth conditions. You’ll work collaboratively with consumers, their families,and support networks. This role also offers opportunities to supervise juniorstaff and students, participate in quality improvement initiatives, engage infurther professional training and clinical research. The ClinicalPsychology team are a highly supportive team within a larger multi-disciplinaryteam which includes social workers, occupational therapists, nurses, and mentalhealth doctors. Working within the Gold Card Clinic and DialecticalBehaviour Therapy program are an essential part of the role and experienceworking in these programs will be highly regarded.
What You'll Be Doing
To deliver psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, interventions and consultationin order to address the needs of consumers who are living with complex mentalhealth problems and disorders.
The role also participates in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of servicesand assists in the development and provision of education and trainingprograms. Additionally, the role supervises Psychologists and other disciplinesworking within the LHD according to organisational needs.

SWSLHD Community Mental HealthServices provide comprehensive, community-based mental health care across SouthWestern Sydney.
Theseservices cater to different age groups, including children, adolescents,adults, and older persons, ensuring care throughout various life stages. Themultidisciplinary teams offer a range of supports, including mental healthassessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and therapy. They workclosely with inpatient services, GPs, and other community organisations toprovide holistic care.

Qualifications
* Fullregistration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accreditedpostgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two yearsfull time duration or recognised equivalent.
* Describeyour experience in delivering evidence-based clinical interventions,including assessments, treatment planning, and referrals. How do youensure your approach remains collaborative and inclusive of consumers,their families, and natural supports?
* Providean example of how you have contributed to a multidisciplinary team,including any leadership, supervision, or quality improvement activities.How did your input enhance clinical outcomes or service delivery?
* Pleasedescribe your level of training and experience in delivering DialecticalBehaviour Therapy to individuals or groups, and your attitude towardsworking within a DBT framework in therapy?
* Applicantsmust possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state otherthan NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license withinthree months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
