Overview
This position is responsible for ensuring Production plans are practicable and executable for the Mining Operation. The role will deliver operational instructions, to enable the business to meet its objectives in terms of production and cost. Strong communication and collaborative skills to enable integrated production instructions by incorporating detailed engineering designs with operational risks. This role is based at Catalyst Metals, the owner and operator of the Plutonic Gold Mine, located in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. Catalyst Metals Limited (ASX: CYL) is an Australian gold mining and development company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. The company holds land across three prospective belts in Australia: Henty in Tasmania, Marymia in Western Australia, and Four Eagles in Victoria.
Base pay
A$130,000.00/yr - A$200,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Ensure Production plans are practicable and executable for the Mining Operation.
- Deliver operational instructions to enable objectives in production and cost.
- Incorporate detailed engineering designs with operational risks to produce integrated production instructions.
Qualifications
- Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the mining industry
- Underground production experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mine
- Significant experience in all production coordination processes from daily to monthly intervals
- Experience in all aspects of mine design (lateral/vertical development and production)
- Robust experience using Deswik suite software, specifically planning functions
- First Class Mine Manager's Ticket desirable

Location and roster
Based in Western Australia; fly-in, fly-out roster from Perth to Plutonic Gold Mine; 8:6 roster; on-site facilities include camp with gym, courts, pool, and other amenities.
