Product Development Lead

This role supports the development of advanced aircraft systems in Australia at Toowoomba or Brisbane location.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish efficient processes for production facilities to support quality assurance.
* Lead research on technical, operational, and quality issues and design solutions.
* Lead teams to analyze, conduct root cause analysis, and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.
* Develop and implement product improvements using innovative approaches.
* Provide subject matter expertise by supporting cross-functional teams and participating in design reviews.
* Ensure supplier compliance with industry standards.
About You
* A minimum of 7 years' experience in aerospace engineering, modification, or production activities.
* Hold tertiary qualifications in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Mechatronics that satisfy relevant requirements.
* Familiarity with engineering change processes and experience developing artefacts within regulatory environments.
* Experience with 3D modelling and design tools.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement principles is desirable.
* Effective communication skills with different stakeholders.
* Assertive, self-motivated, and capable of working with high initiative.
