Permanent Part-Time Dental Assistant needed - 4 days a week
Hobart Family Dental is expanding and we have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Assistant to join our friendly team at Hobart Family Dental. The role is 4 days a week, dental assisting with some administration duties when required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing other support as needed
- Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are fully stocked
- Greeting patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Scheduling appointments and handling other administrative tasks as required
- Maintaining accurate patient records and dental charts
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the wider dental team
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Ability to work well as part of a team
