We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Humanities/English teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective learning and teaching programs for students in Years 7-11.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a vital role in the next phase of strategic growth of our college. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and relevant curriculum content
- Contributing to the development and implementation of school objectives and planning
- Ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are implemented in the classroom
- Contributing to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment
- Demonstrating excellence in knowledge, understanding, and research of their Learning Area
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A registered or eligible registration with Queensland College of Teachers
- A strong commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
