This company is a well-known, multi-national organisation based in Melbourne's West. Due to an internal transfer, they are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their small and friendly, yet busy team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager your day to day duties will involve the following:
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll for over 200 staff
- New starters, terminations, and basic award interpretation
- Generating monthly reports
- Annual and sick leave accruals
- Liaising closely with the Human Resources and Finance teams
- Responding efficiently to employee queries
- Ad hoc payroll and administrative tasks as required
To be effective in this role, you will have a strong work history of standalone end-to-end payroll. We are seeking an individual with exceptional time management and communication skills and a natural ability to prioritise competing demands in a high pressure environment. All this aside, you will be an individual who articulates effectively both verbally and written, with an outgoing and friendly personality.
