Your next career opportunity

As an Operational Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of student and learning systems across the University. You'll engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs, translate these into opportunities, and facilitate prioritisation to maximise the value delivered by development teams. This role offers you the chance to drive enhancements, support feature development, and ensure high standards in delivery, all while collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Build and Maintain Stakeholder Relationships: Engage with business stakeholders to capture needs and define outcomes for development opportunities
* Facilitate Prioritisation and Delivery: Continuously prioritise team backlogs to ensure focus on valuable work aligned with strategic goals
* Drive Product Roadmap and Growth: Contribute to defining product roadmaps and growth opportunities, aligning with university strategy and market insights
* Communicate and Evaluate Features: Present features to stakeholders, using feedback to enhance delivery and ensure high standards

You may be a great fit if:

You are an experienced Product Owner with a proven track record in complex organisations, showcasing your ability to drive strategic initiatives, manage diverse stakeholder groups, and lead teams in delivering impactful solutions across multiple systems.

You may also:

* Have outstanding communication and presentation skills, adept at managing diverse stakeholder groups
* Demonstrate leadership in Agile environments, fostering continuous delivery of value
* Be skilled in innovative, customer‐centric product design and development
* Exhibit confidence and passion, thriving in dynamic environments and driving strategic change

Your new team - Academic Technology

Within the Chief Information Officer Group, Academic Technology encompasses the Student and Learning and Research Domains. Academic Technology develops and strategically manages the information technology needs of academics and students across the University by providing project delivery, uplift, management and support for core and enterprise teaching, learning and research systems.
